1. Nature of Service
ConnectLawyer.in operates as a technology platform facilitating connections between users and independent legal professionals. The fee charged is solely for facilitating such interaction and not for any specific legal advice, outcome, or result.
2. Strict No Refund Policy
All payments made on the Platform are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with advice, change of mind, lack of desired outcome, or misunderstanding of services. By making a payment, you expressly agree to this no-refund condition.
3. No Guarantee of Outcome
The Platform does not guarantee any legal outcome, resolution, or result. Users acknowledge that legal consultations are advisory in nature and subject to individual interpretation and circumstances.
4. No-Show and User Default
If a user fails to attend the scheduled consultation, is unreachable, provides incorrect contact details, or is otherwise unavailable at the scheduled time, the consultation shall be deemed completed and no refund, rescheduling, or compensation shall be provided.
5. Limited Discretionary Exception
In rare cases where the consultation is not conducted solely due to a verified technical failure attributable to the Platform, a remedy may be provided at our sole discretion, which may include rescheduling or partial refund. The decision of ConnectLawyer.in shall be final and binding.
6. Third-Party Services
Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. We shall not be responsible for failed transactions, delays, or technical issues arising from such services.
7. Chargeback and Fraud Protection
Users agree not to initiate any chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us. Any unauthorized or fraudulent chargeback shall be treated as a breach of these terms and may result in denial of future services, recovery proceedings, and legal action.
8. Abuse and Misuse
Any attempt to misuse the refund process, including false claims or disputes, shall result in immediate suspension of access to the Platform without any liability on our part.
9. Modifications
We reserve the absolute right to modify or update this Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction shall be exclusively with the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra.
